Our room was equipped with convenient amenities like a private safe, central heating, and an iron, and we loved the breathtaking views of the mountains from here.

Charming, friendly, conscientious staff, always helpful. Bathroom was sparkling and always had warm (and often hot) water. This small hotel is just a half block off the Plaza de Armas, a great location. We had made a reservation for only one night before heading to the jungle, but we were immediately so impressed that we made reservations for several more days for our return to Cusco.
The breakfast is a little barren, but adequate.

The hotel is ideal and clean, has stunningly beautiful views of the mountains that surrounded us. We have stayed in the guest room with a storage and a safe box. Private bathroom is clean. It has good restaurant and marvellous location to the cathedral. One of tourist spots - Inca ruins - is at a walking distance from the property, thoroughly enjoyed that.

The location of the hostal is excellent; plaza de armas is about 200 meters away. My room was cleaned everyday. The hotel staff were friendly and helpfull.
When I checked out they charged me 20 soles for the airport pick up which they never mentioned when I booked my reservation. The taxi from airport to hotel only cost 10 soles, had I known that they were going to charge me twice as much, I would have taken a taxi myself. To travelers who wants to stay at this hotel, just take a taxi from the airport to the hotel and you will save half of what they will charge you for pick up.

Friendly and helpful staff, great location, good price/quality, good breakfast, clean rooms and bathrooms, ok internet. Hotel charges 10 soles for taxi to the airport (non pre-booked taxi costs about 7-8 soles).
Noise! - we stayed at the hostel for four nights in two different rooms (3 nights before and 1 night after the Inca Trail) and the hostel suffers from poor sound isolation. All rooms and reception are located on the second floor with very thin walls and doors. Anything said at reception (late arrivals, early departures) can be heard in the rooms. Back rooms are located near the kitchen / breakfast area also leading to early morning noise. Front rooms suffer from persistent street noise. For this reason we do not recommend this hotel.

Nice breakfast, friendly staff, extremely central location.
Reception is on the second floor as was our room and the doors are very thin so we were awake from 6am listening to every word of the check-out conversations. Also beware the check out time is 8.30am (this is advertised on their website to be fair but we didn't notice it).

The hotel is pleasant and overall clean, nestled in a very comfortable building with a delightful view of the cathedral. Special thanks to the lovely, friendly staff. - the rooms are beautifully maintained and well-equipped, with large beds. - Particularly good location next to the pubs in the area and the airport; very central. - I couldn't recommend this property more.

Excellent location with a very helpful and friendly staff. A simple yet comfortable hotel with a typically Peruvian breakfast of fruit, coffee, and bread.

I really loved the working crew at the hostal... Everyone is specially nice, welcoming and prompt to help at any time and matter... Superb!
Breakfast could have more options... But nothing too bad that would make me not get back there... Afterall it's a hostel, not a hotel... For the ones with my perspectives of travel (tourism, ruins, tours, sightseeing) it's just amazing... I do recommend.

Firstly we were greeted by Armando, as he picked us up from the airport. He was on time and very nice and friendly. We arrived at the hostel and were greeted by Norma. What an absolute treasure she is! Nothing was a problem and understands the meaning of great hospitality. The rooms are more than adequate although you can hear street noise if you stay in the front rooms. Otherwise I rate it highly.. Thank you el triunfo for making our stay in Cuzco a fantastic one..
The street noise, although a good pair of earplugs will drown out the sound.
